Have you spent many years having fun in the snow, you enjoy that sensation of lightness as you slide fast down a mountain. Have you started to ask yourself questions which still remain unanswered:
What would it feel like, to ski down that canal full of powder snow you see from the ski lift? How to know if the snow conditions are suitable for off-piste skiing? How does it feel to ski on untouched powder snow?
The Guide Val d'Aran team offers you a new journey, a new route where you'll find the answers to your questions. We have created Guide Val d’Aran with the aim of making you live those experiences in the mountains that have, at some point, crossed your mind, and of course all the possibilities the snow offers, such as skiing off piste and ski touring.
We are mountain guides. Our main concern is your safety.
Our experience, after many years of training and practice, enables us to organize heliski and heli touring experiences, as well as arranging incentive travel programs in Spain and abroad.
Above all, we want to share our knowledge with you!
We love mountains and want to share it with you.
Our workplaces are those that stand out for their mountain ranges, both in Europe (Pyrenees, Alps) and Asia (Himalaya, Kamchatka Peninsula), not to mention America (Canada, Argentina, Chile and Peru).
Of all these places, we chose this extraordinary valley and the Pyrenees Mountains to set up our headquarters for Guide Val d'Aran.
Val d'Aran is located on the north side of the Pyrenees. It is one of the places that gets more snow in this beautiful mountain range, so the area provides good quality snow and great skiing during all winter. Here you will be able to spend several days ski touring, with everything adapted to meet your needs: from warm and comfortable accommodation in a hotel in the valley, to setting off for a week to the National Park of Aigüestortes and sleeping in mountain lodges there.
The Pyrenees and the Val d'Aran are also known for their fast access from anywhere in Europe via Barcelona or Toulouse. They are a very affordable option for a quick getaway.
The fastest way to get to Val d'Aran is flying to Tarbes or Toulouse.
Val d'Aran is 1h30 / 2h00 from these two French airports.
From Barcelona, the drive takes around 4h00.
From your arrival at the airport, you can have a fast and comfortable helicopter transfer with all the security to your final destination.
